Macmillan published illustrator, Vanessa Soodeen hosted a workshop at the children's library in Port-of-Spain on Friday, 9th September. Twenty-one participants ranging from toddlers to accompanying adults got involved in the fun..

Side by side the children enjoyed discovering new skills and new friendships. Materials were provided by NALIS and additional art supplies were donated by Allan Thomas of Thomas & Sons here in Trinidad. Each participant left with a free gift book courtesy Macmillan, from their Ready Go/ Hop Step Jump series, depending on their age. Interesting to note that the grown ups didn't want to leave empty handed either and went for Joanne's pre-school reader "Go Barefoot"! smiles.
